Greenhouse
This role was two-fold. I established a successful volunteering programme for the charity and created and ran a youth development project for 15-17 year olds, which improved their employability skills, confidence and aspirations. • Developed the ‘Give Back Go Forward’ project idea and successfully pitched it for £50,000 funding. • Promoted the project through presentations to Year 11 or 12 in seven secondary schools. • Interviewed and mentored the fifty young people who took part. • Identified volunteering opportunities, through which the group gained work experience. • Organised workplace visits which gave the young people career insight and employer input on their CVs. • Designed and ran group sessions and a residential trip, which built skills and confidence.
