Senior Lecturer, Assessor for the IiC Award, Higher Education Professional

Southwark , London

Senior Lecturer PG Dip/QCG
I started my life in the careers service as an employment officer and after being offered a traineeship by Cheshire Careers Service, studied for what was then the Dip.CG at Birmingham Polytechnic. I have worked variously as a careers adviser, senior careers adviser for TVEI, training officer for a large careers service and director of a 2 year government funded project for management development of careers services in England before becoming freelance as a training and development consultant in 1995. I have worked at LSBU since 1997, combining this with my freelance role. I am nearing the end of my career, but joined WorkingAdviser to keep up to date with what is happening on the ground.
